Tree Planting Volunteer Event at Municipal Gardens

Join us at Municipal Gardens on October 6th for an opportunity to plant trees with the Indianapolis Office of Land Stewardship!
About this Event

We will be out from 1:00pm – 4:00pm planting native tree saplings to help restore forest and increase canopy cover in Indianapolis. We will give a brief demonstration on proper tree planting techniques before we get started. Shovels, gloves, safety vests and insect repellent will be provided. Close-toed shoes and long pants are encouraged. We hope to see you there!
