Join us for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 25, 2024 at 6:00 PM! On behalf of Mayor Jim Luke, the City Council, and City Administration, we invite you to kick off the holiday season with your community.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there for photos, along with the recently crowned beauty queens. Enjoy a special performance by the Pearl River County Community Band and a holiday concert by Kamryn Jones.
After lighting the tree, we’ll play nostalgic Christmas films, including the 1955 version of Miracle on 34th Street, the 1933 Night Before Christmas, and the 1948 Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Refreshments will be available for sale by Picayune Memorial High School groups. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate the season. We look forward to seeing you there!
