This time, we will take you around the streets and reserve areas of West Coffs Harbour. Come along and explore areas and tracks that you may not have known existed.
Trying to get all 30 controls within the hour will certainly give your orienteering skills a workout.
This event is perfect for families, friends and beginners. You can go as a group or by yourself, the choice is yours. We’ll happily walk you through the basics so you can jump right in and discover how much fun orienteering can be.
Please Note: This is a MapRun event. MapRun is a free smartphone app that uses GPS to record your visit to the controls marked on the map.
If you haven’t already done so, it is recommended to download the MapRun app and fill-in your details before you arrive. Also, please don't forget to fully charge your phone before the event.

Start anytime between 9:30am - 11:00am. Finish: 12:00pm

EVENT FORMAT
60-minute Score Event
30 controls on the map
Controls 1–10 = 10 points
Controls 11–20 = 20 points
Controls 21–30 = 30 points
You may visit as many controls as you wish, in ANY ORDER.
The aim is to get the biggest score possible within the 60 minute time limit. However, be mindful of your time, as penalty points are deducted for a late return 😞
COST
Seniors (21+): $12 (members $8)
Juniors: $6 (members $4)
Families: $30 (members $20)
