Tournament Format

1. Single-Elimination Bracket

• 12 Players:

• 3 Rounds (Round of 12 → Round of 8 → Semifinals → Final).

• Round 1: 6 matches (12 players → 6 winners advance).

• Quarterfinals: 6 winners + 2 byes → 8 total players.

• Semifinals: 4 winners → 2 winners advance.

• Final: The last 2 players face off for the championship.

• 16 Players:

• 4 Rounds (Round of 16 → Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Final).

• Round of 16: 8 matches (16 players → 8 winners advance).

• Quarterfinals: 8 winners → 4 winners advance.

• Semifinals: 4 winners → 2 winners advance.

• Final: The last 2 players face off for the championship.

Tournament Rules

General Gameplay Rules:

1. Game Mode:

• 3 rounds of 3 minutes each, with standard settings (no custom rules or mods).

• Best of 1 for each round, except for the Final, which can be Best of 3 to make the championship more intense.

2. Character Selection:

• Players can pick any boxer from the available roster. Each player can only select a character once per match.

3. Match Setup:

• Matches will be Best of 1 until the Final, which will be Best of 3.

• Ensure that players follow the same settings to avoid discrepancies during matches.

4. Fair Play:

• No external cheats, controller mods, or unfair advantages allowed.

• Players should not pause or quit the game mid-match unless due to technical difficulties (disconnects).

5. Reporting Results:

• After each match, players must report the winner to the event organizer.

6. Disconnects:

• If a disconnect occurs within the first 2 minutes, the match will be restarted.

• If a disconnect occurs after 2 minutes, the player who disconnects will forfeit that match unless both players agree to replay.

7. Behavior:

• Players must maintain good sportsmanship throughout the event.

• Harassment, cheating, or inappropriate behavior will result in disqualification from the tournament.
