Join Durham University Treasure Trap for a spectacular evening of medieval feasting, music, dancing and entertainment with a new twist, bringing wonders from some farther-flung parts of the medieval world than have been explored by previous Banquets.
Our in-house expert historical caterers, Serve It Forth will be serving us leagues of delicious historical food. There will also be dancing with the Scrumpy Badgers, medieval music from Paul Martin, and much more.
On the Saturday daytime, we will be running a LARP adventure ("Pre-Banquet Bash"), during which Lunch will be served: 2 sides of an ongoing war have met at a peaceful hunting lodge for peace talks. Could this be the end to the fighting, or just the next step?...
There will be things happening on-site from Friday night until packup on Sunday morning, so do come for the whole weekend if you can. (Some limited on-site accommodation is available, but tends to book out fast! There are also hotels nearby, and space to put up tents.)
We welcome past members, friends, guests from other Treasure Traps and associated societies, as well as anyone else who would like to join us in celebration - so do invite your friends!
Booking deadline is January 24th, 2025. After this date we may be able to take late bookings, but we will NOT be able to handle any new dietary requirements.
