Midland Players are proud to present Robert Louis Stevenson's 'Treasure Island' adapted for stage by Megan Roberts.
The show runs from Wednesday 25th to Saturday 28th September starting at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:00pm.
In the year of our grace 1748, Jim Hawkins comes into possession of a map seemingly showing the location of the long lost treasure left behind by the dreaded pirate Captain Flint. With assistance from guardian Dr Livesey, Jim charts a voyage to the mysterious Treasure Island - a voyage joined by ship's cook Long John Silver. But is Silver quite the affable fellow he seems to be? What of the rest of the crew? The storm is brewing and Jim will soon be forced to question everything they know about adventure, loyalty, and perhaps even the very nature of piracy itself.
