TRC Open Day: Our Community, Our Story

Discover the rich history of TRC and Rotherham Grammar School, and celebrate our place at the heart of our community. We have a fantastic lineup of activities for all ages:

• Family Fun & Games: Get creative with children's crafts, join our family scavenger hunt, or enjoy lawn games on the green (weather permitting!)
• Try American Tag Football: Touchdown! Have a go at a session led by the Rotherham Roosters—it is Independence Day, after all! (*RESERVE YOUR SPOT FOR THIS ACTIVITY*)
• History & Heritage Tours: Explore our site, take a guided tour of our historic building and discover how TRC became the institution it is today. Please note some areas are only accessible by stairs. (*RESERVE YOUR SPOT FOR THIS ACTIVITY*)
• Meet our Student Archivists: Step inside the vault and see how we’re preserving our heritage by creating the brand-new TRC Archive
• Share Your Story: Are you an ex-TRC or Rotherham Grammar School pupil? If so we want to hear from you! Help us capture history by sharing your school day memories for our Living Memories project. Just speak to a volunteer on the day
• Visit Boston Castle: The team at Boston Castle are hosting their own event on the same day. Why not take a walk up the road to visit Boston Castle and join their activities too?
