Boomtown opened in 2015 with the intent of providing the Wisconsin Dells area with a Country Music bar. Mission accomplished. Years later we're here serving up great Nashville inspired food to a Country Music soundtrack. Also check out our live music schedule! We have great musicians in regularly.

Named after country greats Randy Travis and Travis Tritt, and growing up inspired by his mother’s love of country music, Stevens Point, WI native Travis John found his way back to country songs many years after her untimely passing.
After winning his hometown’s local “Point Idol” karaoke contest, he turned to his guitar and got to work debuting his first acoustic performance in 6 short months playing covers at local venues. Through years of dedication and persistence, this singer-songwriter, fitness fanatic, and father earned himself a chance to record his first original single in Nashville, landing himself in the WI finals of NashNext 2017.
His passion for performance, appreciation for music and gravitational spirit has pulled other local musicians together creating his band, Soul Whiskey, playing the best of 90’s, 2000’s, and today’s country hits with an infectious energy that is sure to entertain whether solo, duo/trio or full band!
