Hello and Good Day!I am writing to you today on behalf of one incredible young boy who needs your help. Travis Goldberg.
Travis is a 29 year old who is full of life. At birth he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. A genetic disease that causes progressive muscle weakness and loss of movement. Despite his medical condition, he has a contagious smile that will brighten up every room he enters. He loves to spend time with his friends, family and all his buddies in the CI4×4 club and attending car shows.
Travis has captured our hearts with his strength, and determination despite his challenges. Travis is optimistic and never let's his disabilities define him or hold him back. However, getting around can be a real challenge, as Travis relies on a heavy power wheelchair to get from place to place and we are currently struggling to replace his mobility van after it was T-boned and provide him with a convenient, safe way to transport his wheelchair.
The cost of replacing a mobility van is substantial! That's why we are reaching out to you today. We are raising funds to purchase a wheelchair van for Travis Goldberg and with your support, we can make this dream a reality. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in his life. The van would be specially equipped to accommodate his needs, making it easier for Travis to get around town, go to doctor's appointments, and even take trips to visit family and friends.
We believe that every child deserves the ability to have more independence and the freedom to explore the world around them. We want to give Travis that chance once again.
