#TravelsWithOllie: June Group Hike

Off to Shenandoah we go! Rose River Falls is one of my favorite spots in Shenandoah so join me for a fun, moderately challenging 4.5 mile hike with waterfalls this month!

NOTE: THE ADDRESS LISTED IN EVENTBRITE IS NOT FOR THE TRAILHEAD, it's for the entrance station at Thorton Gap. Eventbrite can't handle the lack of a street address for the trailhead. We'll be at mile 49.3 on Skyline Drive.

ALSO NOTE: This is a popular trail and parking can fill on the weekends so you'll have to wake up early for this adventure! OR – if you're feeling adventurous, you can get a camping spot in Big Meadows Campground and make a long weekend of it–book through Monday so you don't have to break camp Sunday morning! Go to Recreation.gov for reservations. Skyland Resort also has pet-friendly accomodations if you're looking for something slightly more lux.

The #travelswithollie hikes are designed for dogs and their people. You do not need a dog to attend but you do have to love them! :)

Travels with Ollie Hike Rules

• Be kind and respectful to your fellow hikers, dogs and those we meet on the trail.
• All participating dogs must be up to date on their vaccines and remain on a leash for the entire event.
• Please do not allow your dog to greet another dog without permission.
• Practice the leave no trace principles.
