Families are invited to a special drop-in event at the Santa Maria Town Center on Saturday August 8th, in front of Regal, when animals and professionals from the Central Coast Zoo of Atascadero will visit to share information and personal interaction with zoo animals.
*12:00 PM - 1:00 PM kids can enjoy FREE face painting by Inspirational Arts Center to let kids transform into their favorite animals before exploring all the zoo fun!
*12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Astra Book Club from Pioneer Valley High School will provide FREE books to children and a FREE craft in the first hour before zoo animals arrive.
*1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Traveling Zoofari will be giving patrons of all ages the chance to meet wildlife and zoo educators to learn about conversation, animals and what it's like working - and living - in a zoo.
