About this Event
Travel Writing Panel: An open heart, an open mind, and an open-ended ticket | Words in Winter Festival, Daylesford, 2024
Wandering the world and getting paid to do it sounds like a ripper career choice. But what does it actually take to make it as a travel writer? The clues are in the title of this panel-style event for Words in Winter with three outstanding Australian travel writers — each with their own unique trajectory to share.
Join us at Radius Art for an inspiring afternoon, where you’ll pick up personal observations, methods, tips, tricks, and words of wisdom for would-be travel scribes. Hosted by Daylesford-based travel editor, writer, and TV presenter Adam Ford, this event will be full of heart and could kick-start your own creative journey.
This is a free event as part of the Words in Winter festival in Daylesford, but you must book to guarantee a seat. A small number of seats will be held in reserve for walk-ups on the day. The event will consist of a Q&A with panellists, follows by questions from the audience. We will also be awarding a number of door prizes at the end of the event.
