Double Trouble Blues Sessions presents Greek-Australian Blues Woman Kaliopi & the Blues Messengers featuring Jonathon Wade on Hammond and Piano - with special regional guests Lowdown & Dirty. The Blues Messengers are performing new songs from their forthcoming album out for Echuca Blues Festival, and favourites from both bands before their closing supergroup collaboration set showcasing essential piano clarinet, guitar, harp and resonator Shuffles, Rumba, Jug and Swamp Blues to dance off the evening.

KALIOPI
Kaliopi is a Greek-Australian Blues Artist, Guitarist, and Singer-Songwriter drawing from the great blues tradition and the powerful blues women who made it their own. Re-establishing a following for live shows both solo and with new blues releases with her band Kaliopi & The Blues Messengers.

LOWDOWN & DIRTY
An entertaining, combining humour as well as titbits of information about the songs and the era. Their act is appreciated not only by blues enthusiasts, but also by those who want to tantalise their ears with music reminiscent from an earlier era where many of the great rock n roll and country greats found their inspiration.
Playing Early Blues, Hocum Pocum, Boogie, Country Blues, Appalachian Mountain music, Cajun/Zydeco, and Jugband music on a number of different instruments.
Kathie Lewicki - Slide Guitar , Double and Electric Bass, Fiddle.
Ross Priddle - Piano, Harmonica, Washboard and Percussion
Note: Most performances are a combination of seated and standing format. Seating is provided for Dinner and Charcuterie bookings and for most General Admission depending on numbers. If you require a seat we suggest arriving when doors open. Bar food available from 6:30pm-9pm. Pre-Show cocktails & drinks available from 5pm in the Salon.
