Trauma: The Body and The Brain (Module 1)

Conducted online over two sessions:

• Monday 19th May, 9:30am - 11:30am
• Tuesday 20th May, 9:30am - 11:30am

This training provides foundational knowledge in trauma, focusing on understanding its impacts on the body and brain. This modue is recommended for students, early career professionals and professionals wanting to develop their understanding of trauma.

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

• Recognise the effects of trauma and complex trauma
• Describe the Window of Tolerance
• Understand trauma through a neuroscience lens
• Explore effective regulation strategies

Duration: 2 x 2hr sessions

Location: Online

For online sessions you are required to have a working microphone and camera on your device.

• Registrations are transferable to a colleague upon request.
