Trauma Informed Training (Basic Awareness)

Come join us for a trauma-informed training session that will help you gain a basic awareness of how trauma impacts individuals. This in-person event will take place at County Hall, where you'll learn about trauma-informed care practices and how to create a safe environment for those who have experienced trauma.

· To begin to understand the transformation to becoming Trauma Informed;

· To begin to explore how Trauma affects our body, brain and behaviour;

· To be able to recognise how trauma may present in people we work alongside;

· To consider how a Trauma Informed Approach impacts on individuals and communities;

· Begin to think about changes we can make to our working practices, services, and organisations etc.
