About the Training
Trauma Informed Care (TIC) recognizes that many individuals are more likely than not to have a history of trauma. This training explores how trauma affects daily functioning, relationships, behavior, and overall well-being.
TIC shifts the perspective from “What is wrong with this person?” to “What has happened to this person?”
Participants will learn:
âś” The core principles of Trauma Informed Care
âś” How to recognize trauma symptoms
✔ The role trauma may play in an individual’s life
âś” Strategies for fostering safety, trust, and empowerment in care settings
