Trask River House Semi-Annual Harvest dinner

Welcome to the Trask River House annual Farm to table dinner and wine event! Join us for a delightful evening of fresh, locally sourced cuisine paired with exquisite wines from Limited Addition Wines. Chef Derek and Kathy of Bay City Kitchen will provide our amazing meal. The event will be held at 1270 Hickory Hill Rd, where you can indulge in a culinary experience like no other. Savor the flavors of the season while enjoying the picturesque surroundings of the Trask River House. Menu:

Small bites: served with Rose' crush

- House smoked salmon, hummus, caviar, cucumber

- Stromboli with roasted peppers, onions, mozzarella

- Toasted/spiced hazelnuts- House pickled vegetables

- Herbed and drunken mixed pitted olives

- Assortment of cheeses and crackers

1st course: served with Nobel dry chenin

Ceviche of geoduck clams with preserved citrus, shaved fennel, cucumber and bacon crumbs

2nd course: served with Arneis

Spicy and bitter greens salad with marinated fresh mozzarella, late summer tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, and golden balsamic.

3rd course: served with Trousou noir

Fresh extruded herbed orzo pasta tossed with confit of duck leg, pickled scapes, Swiss chard and nigella

4th course: served with Old vine Cabernet franc

Oregon lambchetta roasted with rosemary and garlic on baba ganoush, grilled zucchini, and sauce vert.

5th course: served with Blanc de noirs

Balaton cherry tart with a buckwheat crumble and a dark chocolate red wine sauce.
