Trash Dance: Move ~ Serve ~ Celebrate 🌊🎧
Join us for a unique beach experience blending yoga, music, movement, community, and giving back to the place we love.
This special Photo Shoot Edition brings together Oceana Yoga and Harmonic Holistics for an afternoon of conscious movement and beach stewardship. We’ll begin by grounding into our bodies with an opening yoga practice led by Ana of Oceana Yoga, then head onto the beach for an optional community clean-up accompanied by an uplifting organic house soundtrack mixed live by DJ Oceana.
Trash pickup is completely optional. Come for the yoga, come for the dance, come for the sound healing, come to help clean the beach, or come for the whole experience. 🌊
After the clean-up, we’ll shift from service into celebration with a silent disco beach dance, moving, grooving, and celebrating our collective energy. We’ll close with a peaceful lovingkindness sound meditation led by Jamie Nicole of Harmonic Holistics, giving everyone a chance to settle, receive, and reconnect.
A Note About Donations & the Photo Shoot
Your donation helps support the time, energy, equipment, and creative work that goes into bringing this experience to life. Donations are for our time and offerings, not a requirement to participate in the beach clean-up.
We’ll also be taking photos and video during this event as part of a Photo Shoot Edition, with the hope of creating beautiful visual storytelling that can help us secure future sponsorships and community partnerships.
Our long-term vision is to have sponsors help make these experiences accessible as a gift to the volunteers and community members who show up to care for our beaches.
We believe that yoga, dance, music, and sound healing can be a beautiful way to nourish the very people who are giving their time and energy in service.

Please bring:
Your own gloves, grabbers, and trash bags if you plan to participate in the clean-up. We will have extra if you don’t have your own.
Water bottle
A beach blanket/large towel for beach yoga
Comfy clothes/layers of warm clothing for sound meditation
An open heart
All are welcome. Give what you can while moving your body and caring for our dear ocean. Celebrate our community in joy and ease 🌊💜
How to Find Us:
We will be on the sand of Avila Beach - closest beach entrance are the stairs across from Kraken Coffee located at 310 Front St, Avila.
You will see us with our circle of beach blankets, a table with a beach blanket on it, and a Chalkboard Sign that says "Sol Waves" on one side and "Trash Dance" on the other!
