đź“Ť Henderson Levee Road, Atchafalaya Basin Landing, and Turtle's Bar and Grill
Join us for Trash Bash on the Levee, a community-wide cleanup effort to protect and preserve the beauty of the Atchafalaya Basin and Henderson levee. Volunteers will come together to remove litter along the levee road and surrounding areas of the Basin, helping keep one of Louisiana’s most treasured natural environments clean for residents and visitors alike.
The day will begin with registration, supply distribution, and a safety briefing from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. During this time, volunteers will receive cleanup supplies and instructions for the day. At 9:00 AM, volunteers will be transported to assigned cleanup locations along the levee and Basin areas. Cleanup efforts will continue until 12:00 PM, when everyone will return for a celebration of the day’s hard work.
After the cleanup, stick around for live music from Kade Domec and Full Throttle, along with raffle prizes and community fun from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy good music, connect with neighbors, and celebrate the positive impact we can make when we work together.
Whether you’re an individual, family, business, or community group, we encourage everyone to participate. Let’s work together to clean up the levee, protect the Basin, and show pride in our community!
