Transnational Education in the UK and Bangladesh

It’s your chance to meet experts, swap ideas, and see how studying internationally can open doors. Whether you’re a student, educator, or just curious, don’t miss out on this engaging and insightful gathering!

This one-day event at Liverpool John Moores University encompasses two workshops about key topics guiding the development of TNE in Bangladesh. We will also be joined online by educators from Bangladesh.

These workshops are part of a research project entitled "Blended Learning Framework for UK Transnational Education in Bangladesh" (BELT project). The purpose of this project is to develop a sustainable UK-Bangladesh blended Transnational Education (TNE) framework. This is a collaborative endeavour of the British Council Bangladesh, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Liverpool John Moores University, UK. These workshops will develop participants’ understanding of the concept, prospects, and challenges of UK Transnational Education, and how Bangladeshi students, especially female and ethnic minority students, can benefit from a blended-mode UK Transnational Education.

A free networking lunch will be provided to participants on the day.

The venue is the Student Life Building at Liverpool John Moores University (SLB 304), which is only a 5-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street train station.
