We are beyond excited to announce an upcoming night with deep glens, the immersive electronic project from producer and engineer Brett Bullion.

If you caught any of his sets supporting Autechre on their North American tour last year, you know exactly why this is a must-see. After blowing minds in Minneapolis, Chicago, and right here in Louisville last October, Deep Glens is back to bring his intricate, textured, and deeply rhythmic soundscapes to our stage.

Come experience why he’s become a favorite in the IDM and experimental scenes. This is high-fidelity electronic music that demands to be heard live, in person.

deep glens is the solo work of producer and mixing/recording engineer brett bullion. as an engineer, he has worked across genres with artists such as low, samia, hippo campus, margaret glaspy, bad bad hats, the bad plus, your smith, and craig taborn. deep glens is a return to bullion’s early roots in electronic music. it draws on formative influences such as warp, mego, chain reaction, touch, and blends these reference points with bullion’s extensive studio experience.

the debut album “earn grips" was constructed from improvisations using custom-built software environments, which later evolved into a live set. the set was recorded in chicago and released as “LIVE 2023-07-28.” autechre, the legendary warp records duo, featured both tracks from this performance during their bbc 6 music artist residency in december 2024, and subsequently invited bullion to join them on four dates of their 2025 north american tour. audio and video of these performances were recorded and released as “dg ae 2025.”
