Transitioning to Plant-Based Eating

Making the choice to transition to a plant based lifestyle can be done in many different ways; only you can decide what is right for you. While the benefits are clear and your commitment may be solid, it can still be a very challenging experience mentally and emotionally. This is where community comes in !!

At this event, we will share a healthy plant-based potluck meal, then engage in a facilitated discussion to support your transition (or ongoing commitment) to plant-based eating.

The discussion, facilitated by retired psychotherapist and wellness coach Pamela Neimeth CSW, will focus on providing support and sharing strategies for making changes and breaking old habits. In this non-judgemental and safe space the goal will be to brainstorm ideas and explore solutions for stepping forward into a plant based lifestyle.

Please bring a whole food plant-based, oil-free dish to share, as well as your plate, napkin, and utensils. If you need ideas for dishes, please check out the extensive recipe database at Forks Over Knives. You are also welcome to keep it simple by bringing a plate of fresh fruit or veggies!
