Your Practical Guide to Starting and Growing a Thriving Clinic
Starting your own clinic is an exciting journey, but it can also feel overwhelming. Where do you begin? How do you attract clients? What about pricing, legal requirements, and financial management?
ATMS’ Transition to Practice (TTP) Seminar is here to help! Designed specifically for students and new graduates, this highly popular event provides practical guidance, expert insights, and step-by-step strategies to help you build a successful and sustainable natural medicine practice.
Whether you’re dreaming of your own wellness clinic, a home-based practice, or a mobile service, this event will give you the confidence and tools to turn your vision into reality.
Meet the Presenters:
ATMS President: Rebecca Lang
Rebecca Lang is a Bachelor-qualified Naturopath with advanced diplomas in Nutritional Medicine and Western Herbal Medicine, and postgraduate training in Mental Health and Neuroscience, and currently finishing her Masters. She brings a multidisciplinary, evidence-informed approach to health that integrates neuroscience, lifestyle medicine, and trauma-informed care.
With over two decades of clinical and business experience, Rebecca works at the intersection of mental health, nervous system regulation, and whole-person healing. Her work focuses on understanding how trauma, chronic stress, and adversity impact the brain and body, and how recovery is supported through regulation, safety, and neuroplasticity rather than willpower alone.
Rebecca is the President of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and has held multiple board leadership roles, contributing to national advocacy, education, and professional standards within natural medicine. She is also the founder of multiple health and education initiatives spanning clinical practice, practitioner education, community mental health, and lifestyle-based prevention.
Her teaching style is grounded, compassionate, and science-led, making complex neuroscience accessible and practical for both practitioners and the broader community.
ATMS Director: Geraldine Headley
Geraldine Headley is a Naturopath, Herbalist, Hypnotherapist & Nutritionist based in Adelaide South Australia.
Integrating 25 years of paediatric nursing with 2 decades of naturopathy, Geraldine has worked in major hospitals, as well as 3rd-world communities around the globe, specialising in paediatric and adult surgery & medicine. Geraldine is dedicated to promoting natural medicine, especially physical therapies which she regularly enjoys!
For the last decade, Geraldine has dedicated her focus to complementary medicine, not just as a clinical practitioner, but as an educator and mentor. In 2017, she rolled out her highly successful mentorship – ‘The Graduate Program’ and educational offering ‘The Paediatric Online Practitioner Mastery Course’, and has since been nominated for a number of awards.
Her extensive professional & industry knowledge allows her to easily bring her own experiences into her clinic and her teaching, which promotes an unrivalled level of authenticity and guidance, confidence and nurturing with just a hint of sass.

ATMS CEO: Annie Gibbins
Annie Gibbins is the CEO of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and a highly regarded leader in the health and wellness industry.
