TRANSGIVING: Carbondale Trans Community Potluck

It’s @downstateiltransorg’s 3rd annual Transgiving celebration! Every year, trans folx and their families gather to celebrate the holidays together with Transgiving dinner, socializing, music, and merriment! 5-8 PM on Sunday, November 22nd at Gaia House Interfaith Center in Carbondale. Weather permitting, there will also be outside seating and there will be activities upstairs for the kids. Transgiving is an opportunity to enjoy the holiday in a trans majority space—something we and our family’s rarely get to experience. Maybe we’ll see you there? Not required to bring a dish but anything from proteins to sides to desserts to drinks to cutlery/cups are welcome!
