Southern Illinois Arts Collective will be hosting its second meeting at the Southern Illinois Artspace 304 W. Walnut St. in Carbondale (hosted at a different local art space each time).
We are a newly formed multi-county group of artists working together to promote the arts in Southern Illinois.
This is an opportunity for artists and community members to mix and mingle and to brainstorm about how to promote and support the arts in Southern Illinois.
On the agenda this meeting:
Updating artists on our progress with the
ARTIST DIRECTORY (more than 40 artists)
FREE ART EVENTS CALENDAR (live)
THE ART TRAIL we are building
SURVEY RESULTS (responding to needs of local artists)
SIAC Gallery Show at ARThaus in Duquoin
If you are an artist, have an art space, are a supporter of the arts, or just want to learn more. We would love to have you attend.
