🗓️ Saturday November 22 | 2-4 PM
Join us for a powerful homegoing service celebrating the lives and legacies of our transgender siblings taken too soon. This sacred space, led by Pastor Joy and community leaders, honors both remembrance and resilience — acknowledging grief while lifting up hope, strength, and continued fight for justice.
This service will include storytelling, music, reflection, and spiritual affirmation — open to all faiths and non-faith traditions.
🕯️ The TDOR flag will travel to this event as a shared symbol of memory, resistance, and love.
This year’s observance of Transgender Days of Remembrance and Resilience will span 3 days of events across Hampton Roads — each offering a different way to honor, reflect, and connect. From community gatherings to spiritual remembrance and a formal memorial service, each event carries the shared theme: “Coping in Today’s Climate.”
