This full-day workshop will delve into the current needs, barriers, best practices, and strategies for supporting Indigenous Fire Stewardship (IFS) activities. It will place particular emphasis on policy and jurisdictional issues. By bringing together IFS practitioners and allies from settler institutions, the workshop aims to identify and outline strategies and best practices to enhance fire management through Indigenous stewardship.
