In celebration of America’s 250th, Fairhope is hosting a transcribe-a-thon!
Join us at the Fairhope Museum of History on June 20th from 1pm-3pm and get a first-hand look at some of the letters, notes, diaries, and documents from Fairhope’s founding years. Help transcribe the documents for the first time to be made accessible online. Volunteers can bring their own laptop to type transcriptions or use provided paper and pencils. Volunteers must be able to read cursive and, if transcribing onto paper, write legibly.
