Artist Reception & TDoR Vigil: November 20th from 6-8pm
Peoria Proud invites you to Transcending Boundaries, our Transgender Day of Remembrance Community Art Exhibit at ICC’s Performing Arts Center! This exhibit displays art of all mediums created by transgender and gender nonconforming artists in the Greater Peoria Area.
This exhibit runs from Nov 12th through Dec 4th, with an artist reception on Thursday Nov 20th from 6-8pm. Please join us for a TDoR vigil and name reading at 7pm.
TDoR is traditionally a day to pay respect for transgender lives that were lost to violence over the past year. We want to honor these lives and show how the trans and GNC community lives on and continues to thrive despite societal oppression. Stop by ICC's Performing Arts Center between Nov. 12th - Dec. 4th to see masterpieces crafted by your peers!
