About this Event
Dreaming Justice Project (@the.djpc), Mutha’s House (@muthashouse), and La Choloteca (@lacholoteca) are joining forces for a vibrant, sexy, and deeply intentional community gathering centering Black & Latinx trans brilliance.
Trans*cend: LIVING ART — Black & Latinx Trans Body is a celebration of presence, pleasure, and power, honoring trans life as sacred, alive, and creatively expansive. This one-of-a-kind experience uplifts Black and Latine trans and queer artists, healers, and cultural workers through embodied art, ritual, and community.
What to Expect
The Atlanta Eagle transforms into a living gallery featuring:
- Body painting with nude and semi-nude models
- Food & drinks made with love
- Live photography capturing our beauty and power
- Performances & intuitive healing offerings
- Intentional spaces for reflection, connection & grounding
- A SUPER SPECIAL raffle prize sponsored by Beauty By Ten Cosmetics (@beautyxtencosmetics)
- Music by DJ La Superiorrr (@la.superiorrr)
- FREE HIV TESTING by @someone_cares_atl
Every body is art. Every mark is a prayer. Every breath is a reminder that we are still here, still alive, and still dreaming together.
Community Ritual: Messages to the Future
Before the night concludes, we’ll gather in a ritual offering called Messages to the Future; a collective moment of hope, manifestation, and remembrance for the safety, joy, and future of trans lives yet to come.
This evening is not centered in mourning. It is centered in living, in reclaiming ourselves as holy, whole, and free.
