Nico Lang, the author of American Teenager: How Tans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era is coming to GJ for an April 8, 2026 book event. Trans Parent is going to read and discuss the book for the Feb 8th meeting and the March 8th meeting so that we are informed to go to the book reading in April. The event will be Wednesday, April 8th at 6:30-8pm at the American Lutheran Church.
There will be books available to purchase at the April event. Purchasing books at the event is the best way to get actual $ into Nico's hands. If you wanna read a hard copy of the book, request it at our public library where they can get it for you via library sharing. The more it is requested, the more likely our library will purchase a copy/copies! WOO HOO!
