Join us on Saturday, April 4th at 12pm at Mullinex Park for a celebratory picnic in observance of Trans Day of Visibility!
We are excited to host this annual event again. This year we will be grilling up lunch, signing the TDOV Banner, creating vibrant Tie dye, bracelets, and rock painting. We will be hosting this event rain or shine and will be a fun afternoon for all ages. We hope to see you there!
What is Trans day of Visibility? Well it's the International Transgender Day of Visibility.
Ok, that didn't really explain what it is that you are celebrating. The date for TDOV is March 31st (we are celebrating it on the weekend because we want it to be a true celebration!). It is to honor the accomplishments and resilience of transgender and nonbinary folx. TDOV is an opportunity to advocate for change and lift up our Transgender siblings voices.
