Show up. Sign up. Tell a 5-minute personal story, without notes, inspired by this month's theme, “CLOSE ENCOUNTERS” and be judged by your peers on content and presentation. And, of course, there will be ducks from our proud sponsors at Cat's Pajamas in Ithaca's DeWitt Mall.
Winners will be invited to participate in The Big Showdown on Thursday, December 11th at Ithaca's Liquid State Brewery to compete against the other winning storytellers of 2025. The grand prize is four tickets to Ithaca's historic State Theatre on Friday, February 13th for storytelling magician Justin Willman. Runners-up receive prizes from Buffalo Street Books, The Cat's Pajamas, and WSKG.
THIS EVENT WILL BE RECORDED
We are thrilled that WSKG is sponsoring the 2025 season of Trampoline! We will be recording this event, which will be edited and eventually broadcast. Storytellers will give consent to allow their stories to be recorded and used.
