Training/Workshop - Spring Tune-Up and Bike Swap

Spring Tune-Up: You’re invited to bring your bicycle to Charlotte Street sidewalk in front of the Sydney Public Market, to have Velo Cape Breton volunteers give your bicycle a once-over prior to the riding season. This could include things such as inflating tires, fixing flats, adjusting gears, adjusting brakes and suggesting any major repairs if needed. Stop by to make sure your bicycle is ready for the riding season ahead!
Please note: We are unable to work on e-bikes as they are too heavy for the bicycle work stands.
Bike Swap: We’ll also be hosting a bike swap at the same place and time. Here’s your chance to either find a new ride or get rid of that bike you have in your storage space you don’t use anymore. Come early for the best selection!
NOTE: If you’re selling a bike, you must stay around until it’s sold. We can’t be responsible for selling, taking payment or dealing with bikes left behind.
