About this Event
The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to the fundamentals of Tango, where participants will learn the basic steps and movements. This foundational knowledge will set the stage for deeper exploration into the emotional and social aspects of the dance.
As we progress, we will focus on the importance of communication in Tango. Participants will engage in exercises that emphasize non-verbal cues, body language, and the significance of listening to their partners. By switching partners frequently, attendees will not only enhance their adaptability but also cultivate empathy and understanding, key components of building healthy relationships.
Throughout the workshop, we will incorporate mindfulness practices to help individuals connect with their own emotions and energy. This self-awareness will enable them to bring their authentic selves to the dance floor, fostering genuine connections with others.
To conclude the session, we will hold a guided reflection where participants can share their experiences and insights. This will create a supportive environment for everyone to express their thoughts and feelings, reinforcing the connections made during the workshop.
By the end of the two hours, participants will leave with more than just dance skills; they will have developed a greater sense of self and an understanding of how to cultivate meaningful connections with those around them through the beautiful art of Tango.
