Train Day and Model Railway Show

The Model Railway Show is a special event day of the year for all train enthusiasts! Organised by Invicta Model Rail, the Engine Shed will be hosting the model railway exhibition with a number of unique layouts for you to view, alongside our own large model railway. Complete with stall holders, this event caters for the seasoned hobbyist to the newly inspired!
The diesel locos will be out on the narrow gauge line pulling passenger carriages to the Station in the woods, where the Bredgar collection of engines, tractors and vehicles can be seen in the main field, along with visiting engines and tractor and trailer rides. There's a treasure hunt for the kids as well as a garden games section to keep them busy all day. Your ticket includes access to the model railway exhibition, unlimited train and tractors rides, all attractions in the main field.
** Please be advised the STEAM locomotives will not be in service during this day, on display only. This decision was made for the safety of all our visitors as a result of the exceptionally dry conditions of late.
Complete your visit with a stop at our Station Tea Room for a 'proper' coffee and some fabulous cake. Alternatively grab something hot from the grill and set out your picnic blanket for a fantastic day out.
Advance tickets are available online until Sat 1st August at 5pm:
Adult: £15 (Ages 17+)
Child: £7.50 (Ages 4-16yrs)
Baby: Free (Ages 0-3 yrs)
Family: £40 (Up to 2 adults and 3 children)
Tickets are available on the gate for the standard prices:
Adult: £20
Child: £10
Baby: Free
Family: £50
Carers go free with full paying visitor - supporting documentation must be shown on entry.
