Per group feedback, we decided to replace this quarter’s campout with a whole day of TrailMix in the form of a Winter Retreat!Get ready for a day filled with community, connection, and activities for all ages. Whether you’re looking to recharge, learn new skills, or just have fun, this retreat has something for everyone!
-Start your day with ice breakers and team-building games to spark new connections.
-Participate in a self-care workshop led by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or stretch and center yourself in a full yoga session guided by a certified Yoga Alliance instructor.
-Join the Board for the State of TrailMix, where we’ll celebrate our progress, gather your feedback, and dream big for the future.
-Venture outdoors for an Inner Compass hike, learn valuable tips in an outdoor skills workshop, and give back to our gracious host by participating a community service project.
-If workshops aren’t your speed, explore one of Chip’s exciting playshops, where you and/or the kids can try your hand at a variety of cirque skills, while littles will relish the timeless fun of an Aunt Angie storytime.
-Enjoy ongoing activities throughout the day, including board games, nature crafts, a collaborative community art piece, and plenty of social time. Need a break? You’ll always find something to do at your own pace!
-We couldn’t replace a campout with anything that didn’t include a quintessential TrailMix Talent Show – kids AND adults are encouraged to participate!
-Enjoy a delicious potluck lunch, so bring your favorite dish to share with friends old and new. (Supplemental refreshments will be available throughout the day but please feel free to bring your own if you have special dietary restrictions).
-Keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway or two for attendees as well…
With simultaneous sessions for different age groups and both indoor and outdoor activities, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout the day.
