Join long-distance hiker and North Idaho adventurer Barbara Sammut for a powerful talk on hiking the Pacific Crest and Appalachian Trails. As the North Idaho Trail Association’s Program Specialist, Barbara will not only speak on her experiences and takeaways as a seasoned long-distance hiker, but also on the status of ranger districts in the Panhandle, the importance of protecting Idaho’s wild spaces, and ways we can work together to preserve our trails. Hikers and wilderness lovers are welcome to bring their questions, tips for practicing Leave No Trace principles, and stories to share!
