Come celebrate the grand opening of the connector trail between Tortugas Mountain and the Soledad Canyon multi-use path. SNMTA and volunteers have been working on this trail since July 2025. It is now complete! Many have already been enjoying the new trail but this event is a time to celebrate the first new trail around Las Cruces in many years and visit with our trail community.
There will be breakfast snacks and coffee starting at 8:30. At 9:00 we will have a short announcement and grand opening of the trail. Afterwards everyone is invited to visit and enjoy the trail. There will be some group lead runs, hikes, and rides. We will also have a slideshow of the trail construction to enjoy. We will hangout until around 12:00.
