Welcome to Trail Club! Each month we will meet at a different preserve for a brisk weekly walk to promote fitness and community! Join other walkers to beat the winter blues and embrace the beauty of the season. Trail Club will be held from January through March. March’s walks will be two loops around Turtle Lake totaling 2.2 miles at Lake Renwick Preserve – Turtle Lake Access in Plainfield.
In January, Trail Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at Whalon Lake. February’s Trail Club meetings will be at 3 p.m. Thursdays at Lake Chaminwood Preserve. Join us for any or all Trail Club sessions! Participants who attend at least three walks this season will earn a Trail Club sticker. If inclement weather affects a program, an update will be posted on this page the morning of.

Enter the preserve from Lockport Street and head toward the southwest side of the parking lot. Meet the group at the amphitheater at the edge of the Budde Lake.
The entirety of the program is outdoors, so dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes or boots. The trail is paved but not groomed in snowy conditions. Parking lots are plowed.
