Trail Building Day at Ventura Hills Nature Preserve

Join Ventura Land Trust for a hands-on volunteer day on the trails! We’ll be building new singletrack and refreshing existing trails to make them safer, more sustainable, and more enjoyable for everyone. No experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and be ready to get a little dirty. Let’s build something great together!

• Gloves and tools will be provided.
• We ask that volunteers bring a backpack with water/snacks, sunscreen, etc., and a positive attitude!
• Closed-toed shoes fit for hiking are required and long pants/sleeves are highly recommended.
• Expect to hike about 1 mile total throughout the day, and tough manual labor using hand tools.
• This volunteer opportunity is open to ages 16+ with parental/guardian consent.
