Rosemaling means “rose painting” in Norwegian and is done in many styles reflective of specific regions of Scandinavia. In this class students will go further in depth to learn and understand this traditional decorative painting style.
This two-day class will cover more intermediate techniques, and allow time for deepening your rosmaling practice. Although beginners are welcome, this class is intended as a more advanced exploration into the art form, with time and exercises allotted to fully appreciate this type of traditional painting.
Our instructor will provide paints and supplies so that you can focus on the painting. This intermediate class is a great way to learn about and advance in the art form, whether or not it is already part of a lifelong passion!
