Painting workshop will be 10 am to 5 pm, with a short break every 25 minutes and a time for lunch. Light snacks will be provided. Bring your own own art supplies (see write up for the techniques you wish to try). Hone your powers of observation by painting the head of a posed model in oils from direct observation, the way it was done before cameras were invented. Participants of this three-day workshop may choose from several optional methods, including grisaille, the bistre method, limited palette color, and full palette color, according to each person’s experience, ambition and confidence level.
