Traditional Indigenous Food Workshop

Join the New West Farmers Market in learning about the important Indigenous culinary tradition of Bannock and 3 Sister Soup - though experience! Using local ingredients and utilizing traditional culinary practices, host Lorelei Lyons of 2MetisWomen will be guiding us through the collective crafting of this historically signifigant dish. Participants will get to make their own bannock, eat with one another - and take home the leftovers! (So make sure you bring a take away container!)

Please bring:

• An apron
• A take away container

• Every participant shares the collective responsibility to help clean up!
• There is no meat in this particular menu, however there is flour and dairy. Unfortunately food allergies cannot be accomodated. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about ingredients.
