About this Event
brings Wisconsin masters of traditional and folk art on stage for an unforgettable evening of visual arts, storytelling, dance, and conversation!
Come meet the artists at a reception and stay to hear them share the intimate personal stories behind their art, along with demonstrations and visual displays. Arrive at 5:30 pm for a complimentary Mediterranean pita bar from Banzo and summer mingling on the MYArts patio! Onstage stories, conversation, and demonstrations begin in the theater at 6:30 pm.

- 5:30-6:30 Reception with artists, appetizers & drinks
- 6:30-7:45 Program with featured artists in theater
- 7:45-8:15 Mingling

By the People: Conversations Beyond 250 is a series of community-driven programs created by humanities councils in collaboration with local partners. The initiative was developed by the Federation of State Humanities Councils and the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.
