Trading Canvases: Singles Night

👋 Hi, we're Makers Social , the DIY craft bar in the Franklinton Arts District! With a full menu of over 30 DIY crafts & a full bar of cocktails, beers, and rare bourbons, we've saved you some seats to meet friends or a lover!

Join us for this "trading canvases" speed dating game! Each guest will be painting portions of the Columbus skyline while socializing with others. This game is meant for beginners, and all canvases are pre-sketched! No judgment here, only Bob Ross-style "happy little trees".

This event is for singles looking to mix n' mingle here in Columbus. Come meet your person IRL. While there is no age restriction besides 21+, the typical demographic attending our Singles Mixers are ages 27-45.

At this event, we'll have a guest expert compatability specialist, Danielle Culpepper available for games & guidance! Danielle is the owner and founder of Kindling Connections, a compatibility company with a focus on creating long lasting connections. Danielle is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist turned Matchmaker and dating coach. Her passion for helping people find love stems from her belief that healthy romantic relationships are fundamental to individual well-being and functioning.Through her work as a therapist, she has gained deep insights into what makes relationships successful. Love alone is not always enough to sustain a long-term relationship. True compatibility ensures that partners can support and love each other even during their worst times. Her guiding philosophy on love is that a true match is not simply about finding the "spark", but it is also about finding someone who invites every version of you to be loved---her goal is to help you "find your flame and make it eternal". She approaches matchmaking through a mental health lens, which focuses on compatibility by understanding how mental health, personal values, and behavioral patterns influence relationship dynamics. Danielle's approach as a "mental health matchmaker" merges mental health and modern dating to encourage you to date like a therapist and find the love that is meant for you.

Beverages including cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, local beers, and a top-notch bourbon selection, will be available for purchase at the bar upon arrival.
