Trade Connections: Women Leading and Building Canada's Future
About this Event
Join us for the Women Leading and Building Canada's Future – Women in Skilled Trades networking event, where you can connect with women in the skilled trades, current apprentices, aspiring apprentices, Journeypeople, and potential mentors.
This event will host a friendly and casual environment for women in various skilled trades to share experiences, connect, and expand networks. Eligible apprentices and pre-apprentices can also learn more about the Women Leading and Building Canada's Future supports, in partnership with the Government of Canada's Canadian Apprenticeship Strategy. More information can be found at nait.ca/womenintrades. Funded in part by the Government of Canada's Canadian Apprenticeship Strategy and the Labour Market Partnerships with the Government of Alberta.
Admission is free (registration required).
Light refreshments will be provided.
Participants are responsible for their parking.
Don't miss this opportunity to join the supportive and growing community of women in skilled trades! Community beyond the work site. Let's build it together.
We invite attendees to support NAIT students by bringing a donation for the student association emergency food centre. Non-perishable food items are always appreciated, and we also encourage donations of period products such as pads, tampons, and menstrual cups — essential items, but often overlooked and not accessible to everyone who needs them. You can learn more about the food centre and a list of suggested food donation items here:
