Trad Jazz Jam at Great Northern Distilling hosted by Traditions of Jazz.
Come join us for a monthly evening of traditional jazz, great tunes, and musical camaraderie at Great Northern Distilling in Stevens Point!
Scheduled for a Wednesday evening monthly from 6:00–8:30 PM, this jam is for area musicians who love the sounds of the 1920s & ’30s, the Great American Songbook, and New Orleans-style jazz.
We’ll start with A Joyful Little Band playing for the first set, then open things up for a “mix & match” collaborative jam focused on collective improvisation, flexibility, and—most importantly—having fun making music together!
Horns • Reeds • Piano • Strings • Rhythm • Guitar • Vocalists
Anyone who loves trad jazz!
Come play, come listen, or come hang out. All are welcome!
