Tracking Bird Migration

Dr. Anant Deshwal, Professor of Biology from Bradley University, will be with us to provide an update on his local bird migration research. Dr. Deshwal is using a network of Motus Towers throughout the midwest. These provide advanced telemetry for tracking individual birds that have been tagged with tiny RF ID chips. Peoria Audubon partially funded establishment of a local Motus tower for tracking bird migration.
