About this Event
Whilst participation in running continues to surge in the UK, with over a quarter of Brits now running at least once a week, we know that running on a track can feel intimidating –especially to women who may never have had the opportunity to access track previously.
We want to destigmatise the track experience whilst modelling a healthy sporting environment, free from any fear or intimidation in what can be a largely male dominated environment.
To do this, Kyniska Advocacy and Interval are kicking off a series of women-only track sessions on September 8th, October 10th and November 13th. The session will be led by Kyniska Advocacy founder and GB marathon runner, Mhairi Maclennan and are open to runners of all abilities.
Sessions are supported by Brooks, who will bring down demo shoes for people to test out on the night. Warm-up starts at 7pm and sessions will run until 8pm.
Our event welcomes all women, including cis and trans women.
